Ill.Fri. - Citrus

The stunning view of the Citrus-74E system, which took 12 years to reach for the crew of the Starship Luddite. Sadly, no one on board was alive to witness it, as the entire crew had long ago perished due to scurvy.

Darn it! If only they could've reached it before the scurvy took their lives! All that citrus gone to waste :(

That is a fabulous little pice. The orange rind ring is great, but what realy caught my eye is how, in the un-enlarged drawing, the ship looks like one of those cool little erasers that you get at the dollar store. I'm not trashing on it, I think that's cool.

The great cheesy story reminded me of the stories in "Spacewreck" by Stewart Cowley. Yours made me laugh out loud.

What medium is this?

A really nice looking piece.

Awesome piece! The fruit looks great! I like how you made the "planets" appear further and closer to the viewer without a horizon. Talent.

Funny story to go with a fun illo., that's rough about the scurvy! :0) I'd thought the ships cockpit was equipped with an old-school juicer! Love the rind ring too.

I like the slight glow you gave the 'planets'
